Tumble down the rabbit hole into the wonderful world of ballet shoes.

Every season The Royal Ballet dance through over 6,000 pairs of pointe shoes, but that’s just the beginning of the story of what is on our dancers’ feet throughout the year. Our ballet footwear team work on everything from pointes to flats, character shoes to ballet boots, and all manner of colours, designs and embellishments.

We are so excited to have Christopher Wheeldon’s riotous adaptation of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland on our main stage once again this Season. Bob Crowley's witty and elegant designs create a production full of fantasy and colour, and one we hope you will be able to enjoy with us.

This year, your donation to our Pointe Shoe Appeal will go towards covering all of the shoes required to bring this magical ballet to life, supporting the dancers of The Royal Ballet throughout the Season.
